<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device whose body, including its jagged parts, can be precisely covered by a ground layer, so that a barrier layer formed on the ground layer can be restrained from becoming cracked. <P>SOLUTION: A ground layer 7 is composed with a material which exhibits fluidity by application of heat. This composition makes it possible to flatten the ground layer 7 by letting it flow by application of heat, so that the entire area to be covered including jagged portions due to a barrier 6 can be covered by the ground layer 7. Furthermore, even if air bubbles, etc. get mixed in the ground layer 7 when it is formed, leaving a non-formed region therein, the air bubbles or the non-formed region can be eliminated by flattening. Therefore, the ground layer 6 will demonstrate a stress relaxation effect even in jagged portions due to the barrier 6, making it possible to restrain a barrier layer 8 from becoming cracked by stress concentration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
