<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method for a groove at a torque receiver part of a caliper body of which installation can be easily carried out and assembling attitude can be kept.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a processing method for a groove at a torque receiver part of a caliper body that comprises: a cavity part 75 of the torque receiver part into which a lug part of a brake pad of a disk brake is inserted; a pair of cavity grooves 90 formed over an opening between a fixing upper surface and a fixing lower surface of the cavity part; opposing first and second supporting pieces; a clip insertion part of substantial U-shaped section as seen in its sectional view comprised of a connection piece for connecting the first and second supporting pieces and fitted into the cavity part; and a protection clip 10 for the torque receiver part having first and second stopper claws that are arranged at the first and second supporting pieces and can be fitted into the pair of cavity grooves. Cutting processing means with a smaller width than an opening width of a rotor side of the caliper body is inserted from an opening of the rotor side, and moved from the opening part of the cavity toward a peripheral part of the rotor to form the cavity groove.</p> |
