<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize an information terminal that accepts inputs of pointing information and key information while providing touch feeling of a keyboard in the information terminal. <P>SOLUTION: In an information terminal, when touch operation is performed on an operation area 20, capacitance of an electrode sheet 200 changes. On the basis of the amount of change, a keyboard input mode and a pointing input mode are switched between each other. When the amount of change of the capacitance of the electrode sheet 200 is more than a first value, it is set on a keyboard input mode and key information is created.
