Disclosed are a hot-rolled steel sheet for a rim of a vehicle wheel and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein excellent durability and weldability can be ensured by an adjustment of alloy components and a condition of a control process. According to the present invention, the hot-rolled steel sheet for the rim of a vehicle wheel comprises: 0.050-0.075 wt% of C, 0.05-0.15 wt% of Si, 0.7-0.9 wt% of Mn, 0.018 wt% or less of P, 0.003 wt% or less of S, 0.01-0.05 wt% of Al, 0.007 wt% or less of Nb, and the remainder consisting of iron (Fe) and inevitable impurities, wherein a tensile strength (TS) is greater than or equal to 370 Mpa, a yield strength (YS) is greater than or equal to 235 Mpa, and an elongation (EL) is greater than or equal to 34%. |
