<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening tool and a method of fastening with which a plurality of members to be fastened can be appropriately fastened. <P>SOLUTION: The fastening tool 10 is driven into a first FRP material 200 and a second FRP material 210 to fasten the first FRP material 200 with the second FRP material 210. The fastening tool 10 includes a punch 20 and a fastener 40. The punch 20 forms a through-hole 220 passing through the first FRP material 200 and the second FRP material 210 by driving the fastening tool 10 into the first FRP material 200 and the second FRP material 210. The fastener 40 is fixed to a rear end of the punch 20 to be detachable, and is inserted into the through-hole 220 as the fastening tool 10 is driven into the first FRP material 200 and the second FRP material 210.
