Inter alia an apparatus (100) comprising a ramp (120), the ramp (120) being configured to enable variation of a cross section of a ram air passage (140) of the apparatus (100) is disclosed. The ramp (120) comprises a first rigid member (121), a second rigid member (122) and a flexible member (123) coupled to the first rigid member (121) and the second rigid member (122). The ramp (120) is movably mounted at two ends (124, 125). Moreover, a method comprising varying the cross section of the ram air passage (140) of such an apparatus (100) by moving the ramp (120) of the apparatus (100) is disclosed. Further, an arrangement comprising such an apparatus (100) and a ram air channel (180) communicating with the ram air passage (140) is disclosed.
