<p>The invention relates to a protective device for a fluid-conducting device for protecting against fluid leakage in the event of damage to a fluid-conducting device section, having a shut-off valve for arrangement in the fluid inlet of the device, wherein said valve is in the closed position when in an initial position, a bypass line for producing a fluid connection upstream of the shut-off valve between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet of the device and parallel to the fluid-conducting device section, and having a shut-off valve for arrangement upstream of the bypass line in the fluid outlet and which prevents the fluid from flowing out of the bypass line in the direction of the damaged device section via the fluid outlet, an instantaneous water heater and a fluid reservoir, each having such a protective device. The invention is in particular suited for providing an instantaneous water heater or a hot water reservoir in the domestic field, wherein fluid is prevented from leaking in the heating block or fluid reservoir in the unmonitored and deactivated state or idle state, regardless of whether the instantaneous water heater or hot water reservoir is supplied with electricity or not.</p> |
