<p>The invention relates to a pump (1), particularly an axial piston pump. The pump is provided with an incline-adjustable swash plate (4) and at least one scanning system (22) for determining this incline (8). The scanning system (22) comprises at least one sensor (24) and at least one scanning surface (23) arranged such that it can be scanned by the sensor (24) and moved with the swash plate (4). According to the invention, the at least one scanning surface (23) is located on the swash plate (4) so as to allow compact structures even for large conveyor volumes and simultaneously determine the angle of inclination with precision.
