<p>The invention relates to a circuit breaker, comprising at least two connection contacts, which are electrically connected within the circuit breaker by means of a switching contact (1). Furthermore, the circuit breaker comprises an electromagnetic tripping device (2), which acts on the switching contact (1) and the coil (3) of which is connected between the at least two connection contacts, and a bimetal element (4) that acts on the switching contact (1).
