<p>The invention relates to a method for producing a joining end (2) of a pipeline (1) designed for a pipe connection (100), wherein a wall region (4a) of a pipeline end piece (4) is shaped by the cooperation of at least one first tool, which acts at least in a clamping manner, and a second tool, which acts at least in a deforming manner, wherein a ring (5) is used, which surrounds the circumference of the outside diameter of the pipeline (1), is pressed on before the wall region (4a) is shaped by the first tool to the initially present outside diameter of the pipeline end piece (4) and undetachably remains on the pipeline end piece (4) after the shaping step, wherein during the shaping step the ring (5) forms a part of the first tool by fixing the pipeline (1) such as to prevent radial, circumferential and axial movements relative to the first tool and thus forms the entire clamping region of the first tool. In particular in order to achieve that the geometry of the joining end (2) can be optimally adapted to the mating contour of a joining part (3) to be joined, regardless of the manufacturing process, the ring (5) is designed as a sleeve body, which at least in a region of the inside circumference facing away from the end face (S) of the joining end (2) comprises a plurality of radially inwardly directed teeth (6), which during the shaping step form an interlock between the pipeline end piece (4) and the ring (5), wherein a negative profile of the teeth (6) is generated on the outside circumference of the pipeline end piece (4).</p> |
