<p>A sandwich carton blank formed from a single sheet comprising two rectangular portions 2, 7 hingedly linked 5 along their short sides. Two non adjacent long sides of the two rectangles are hingedly linked to triangular portions 17, 20 and another side of one of these triangles is linked to an adjacent long rectangular sides by two other triangles 18, 19. When folded the triangular portions extend from their hinged link to one long rectangular side to adjacent another long rectangular side. The triangular walls can be diagonally opposite so that the blank is rotationally symmetric. The side wall can be twice the size of each of the adjacent triangular portions. One of the triangles need not be linked to the other side wall and instead can be spaced from a triangular tab 23 by an equal sized triangular gap 30. One of the side walls can be bisected by a fold line. Adhesive is preferably only applied to part of the external face of the tab. A windowed 25 lid 35 is linked to one triangular wall by a fold 29. Ideally the blank is formed of carton board with a blister coating.</p> |
