<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing aromatic polyester fiber in which thin fiber (a multifilament with single fiber fineness of 3 dtex or less) of melt-anisotropic aromatic polyester with high strength and a high elastic modulus may be stably manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing aromatic polyester fiber in which a multifilament with single fiber fineness of 3 dtex or less is obtained through melt spinning of aromatic polyester exhibiting anisotropy when molten, a heater is provided directly below a spinneret so as to keep a surface temperature of the spinneret in a range from a temperature lower by 10°C than a melting point to the melting point, and a heat insulation tube is provided below the heater so as to gradually cool fiber discharged through the spinneret. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
