Provided is a therapeutic agent for a disease accompanied by epileptiform discharges, which is easily-handled, has a low side effect, and has a fast acting property. By controlling the concentration of carbon dioxide of inhaled air, it is possible to change the pH in body fluids to an acidic side to reduce epileptiform discharges.
