<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk brake apparatus that further suppresses rattle noise compared with the conventional disk brake apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The disk brake apparatus is configured such that an outer brake pad is loosely fitted and held to a claw part of a caliper having a caliper body, including a cylinder, and the claw part provided at a position facing the caliper body. The claw part includes flange parts respectively on the leading edge and on the trailing edge of a rotor on the basis of the central position of the caliper.
