The locking mechanism (37) comprises a latch (14) which is acted on by an energy storage mechanism (31) and locks the driving element (21) in a locked position. The energy storage mechanism (31) acts on the latch (14) in the direction (15) of an unlocked position. In the locked position of the driving element (21), a movement of the latch (14) into the unlocked position is blocked by a mechanical contact between latch (14) and driving element (21) and the mechanical contact between latch (14) and driving element (21) can be overridden by a movement of the movable furniture part (3) opposite to the opening direction (12).
