The present invention relates to a lead tab for a secondary battery and to an apparatus for processing a lead thereof. An embodiment of a lead tab for a secondary battery according to the present invention comprises: a lead having an upper surface, a lower surface and four side surfaces and composed of a conductive member having a thickness of 0.2 mm or greater, a set width and a set length, wherein the lead has a thickness reducing part for reducing the thickness of the side surfaces to 0.2-0.5 t using slopes arranged respectively on the edges in the widthwise direction of the upper surface and the lower surface; and two films arranged in a widthwise direction on the upper surface and the lower surface of the lead and bonded in contact with each other, wherein the two films are thermally fused on the upper surface and the lower surface of the lead and the side surface of the slope and has a thickness of 0.5 t. An embodiment of an apparatus for processing a lead of a lead tab for a secondary battery according to the present invention comprises: a lower roller including a cylindrical axis having a length set in the widthwise direction of the lead supplied in a lengthwise direction, and placed below the lead; an upper roller including an axis parallel to the lower roller and placed above the lead; and two press rollers arranged on the upper roller in the lengthwise direction thereof while being separated by a first interval smaller than the width of the lead, having the shape of a disk with a first diameter larger than the diameter of the upper roller, and modifying the edge of the lead by pressurizing the edge in the widthwise direction of the lead using the circumference surface thereof. |
