<p>[Problem] To duplicate data and data-update information to raise fault tolerance. [Solution] The present invention is provided with: a first storage device connected to a host computer, the first storage device having a plurality of first data volumes and a first journal volume in which is stored journal data including data written into the plurality of first data volumes and an update number indicating the sequence in which the data was written; a second storage device connected to the host computer and the first storage device, the second storage device having a plurality of second data volumes in which duplicated data of each of the plurality of first data volumes is stored, and a second journal volume in which duplicated data of the first journal volume is stored; a third storage device connected to the first storage device and having a plurality of third data volumes in which a remote copy pair is configured with the plurality of first data volumes by using journal data received from the first storage device; and a fourth storage device connected to the third storage device and having a plurality of fourth data volumes in which duplicated data of each of the plurality of third data volumes is stored.</p> |
