<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which can set a transmission destination of scan data from an image processor without performing a complicated operation. <P>SOLUTION: When an action using a scan function is detected with an image processor in an image processing system (S11), the image processor inquires propriety of reception of scan data from the other device (S12). When it is set that the scan data is receivable in a portable terminal receiving an inquiry (S31), reception information of the scan data and that the scan data is receivable are returned to the image processor (S32). When there are responses from a plurality of portable terminals, the image processor narrows the portable terminal being a transmission destination of the scan data on the basis of the responses of the plurality of portable terminals (S13).
