<p>For detecting whether residue exists on passenger conveying equipment in pre-operation, the invention provides a passenger conveying equipment control device and a detecting method for the residue on the passenger conveying equipment. The passenger conveying equipment control device is provided with the components of: a pre-operation executing unit which performs pre-operation of the passenger conveying equipment; a residue determining unit which determines whether residue exists on the passenger conveying equipment according to a driving value that changes along with driving of the passenger covneying equipment in pre-operation; a stopping unit which stops driving to the passenger conveying equipment when existence of the residue is determined by the residue determining unit; and an actual operation executing unit which causes the passenger conveying equipment to perform actual operation when inexistence of the residue is determined by the residue determining unit.</p> |
