<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop and provide a plant pigment synthesis control method for maintaining color freshness of harvested vegetables and fruits near in the condition when they are obtained under light exposure. <P>SOLUTION: Light having a wavelength peak within 580-595 nm is applied to the harvested plant at illumination intensity of 700-2,500 Lx, whereby the plant pigment synthesis in the plant is controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
