The locking system for a double door comprising a stationary door (1) and an opening door (2) comprises a central lock (9) and auxiliary locks (11) on the opening door which are fitted with an automatic opening system (16). The stationary door has a sensor (17) which detects if it is open or the crash bar (7) has been operated and automatically unlocks the opening door.
