This coating device (1) is for applying a varnish which includes particles and a resin. The coating device (1) is equipped with a static mixer (4) for stirring the varnish and a nozzle (5) provided downstream of the static mixer (4) in the discharge direction. The nozzle (5) is equipped with a manifold (21) for spreading, in a first direction perpendicular to the discharge direction, the varnish discharged while being stirred by the static mixer (4). The manifold (21) is provided with an expanding section (33) in which the first direction length thereof gradually becomes longer toward the downstream side in the discharge direction. |
