<p>The element has a closed elongate hollow chamber comprising two regions (2, 4) between which a defined amount of working fluid e.g. methanol and ethanol, is displaceable. A sorbent material (3) i.e. activated carbon, is arranged in one of the regions for adsorption and desorption of the working fluid, and a capillary accommodating unit (5) is arranged in the other region for condensation and evaporation of the fluid. A valve (6) i.e. blow-off valve, is provided at a housing (1) of the element for repeatedly removing and/or introducing the working fluid from and/or into the hollow chamber.
