<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter 1 improved in workability of end drawing work and in accuracy of the stop position of a seedling placing base 29 while allowing the end drawing work to be surely stopped even at a moment's notice, for example. <P>SOLUTION: The rice transplanter 1 includes a seedling planting apparatus 23 having the laterally feedable seedling placing base 29 and a plurality of planting claws 30, and mounted to the rear part of a traveling machine body 1; a PTO clutch 75 for continuing/discontinuing power transmission to the seedling planting apparatus 23; a clutch operating implement 16 for performing an engaging/disengaging operation of the PTO clutch 75; and an end drawing operating implement 71 for carrying out an end drawing mode for laterally feeding the seedling placing base 29 to one of right and left movement ends and stopping it.
