<p>The invention relates to a method for dehydrating pulp (2) in a molder (3), in which the pulp (2) deposited by a headbox (7) onto a lower screen (4) is guided over a bending roll (8) between the lower screen (4) and an upper screen (5),with formation of a double screen area (6) in at least some places. The method according to the invention is characterized in that the pulp (2) is predehydrated by means of the lower screen (4) in a predehydration area (9) arranged in front of the double screen area (6) in the direction of movement (S) of the lower screen (4), and in that the pulp (2) is further dehydrated in the double screen area (6), which has an additional bending roll (13), by means of screen stresses (T.4, T.5) exerted by the two screens (4, 5). The invention further relates to a dehydration machine (1) for pulp (2), which is suitable for carrying out the method according to the invention.</p> |
