The present invention relates to a method for inspecting a tank having a synthetic resin lining (12) on the inner surface of a wall (11) of the airtight container and containing various kinds of liquid chemicals using ultrasonic waves. The present invention composed of a probe (25) emitting ultrasonic waves and receives reflected waves; a wave receiving and emitting device (20); an AD converter (30); and a computer (40) includes a step of setting a reference amplitude of reflected waves; a step of continuously emitting ultrasonic waves from the probe (25) and receiving the reflected waves to the probe (25) at the same time; and a step of detecting a malfunction of the lining (12) by comparing an amplitude of the reflected waves and the reference amplitude when a waveform of the reflected waves reaches a normal condition. The present invention is capable of basically preventing effects of an unnecessary external force to the lining (12) might occur during an inspection, precisely inspecting the attached state of the tank wall (11) and the lining, and rapidly and accurately overall parts of the attached surface of the tank wall (11) and the lining (12), not a specific point. Accordingly, the present invention is continuously grasping the performance of the lining (12) and fundamentally preventing a leak of the chemicals and the corrosion of the tank, thereby remarkably improving the operation safety of the chemical tank. |
