Cable protection

A cable protection system particularly for protecting railway system cabling. Flame retardant brush strip (4) is positioned and arranged in a housing (3) to deter or prevent a rodent obtaining access to cabling (4) running within the housing. The brush strip may comprise a wire carrier (2) coated in a flame retardant thermoplastic elastomer and flame retardant nylon (6) brush fibres.
