PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce waste of electric power under respective states of a processing section, on the assumption that the processing section shifts between a plurality of states with at least different power supply modes, when power supply to the processing section is controlled according to a detecting state of a mobile body.SOLUTION: As basic functions, a first human sensor 28 and a second human sensor 30 comprise: transition control to a standby mode (an operation mode 1) by detecting a mobile body (a user) during a sleep mode; partial power-saving control in a running mode (an operation mode 2) for increasing an energy saving object, when the user temporarily moves away from an image processing apparatus 10; and transition control to the sleep mode (an operation mode 3) by detecting no mobile body (user) during the standby mode, where the transition control is used together with transition control by a timer. |
