The invention pertains to a method for manufacturing a polyethersulfone membrane comprising the steps of:
(i) preparing a polyethersulfone solution [solution (SP)] comprising:
- at least one polyethersulfone [polymer (P)];
- a solvent mixture [mixture (M)] comprising an amount exceeding 50 % wt of N,N-dimethylmethoxyacetamide, with respect to the total weight of the mixture (M);
(ii) processing said solution (SP) into a film;
(iii) immersing said film in a non-solvent bath.
