Method for operating a vehicle, control device and vehicle

The method involves determining unrolling paths of a vehicle (1) based on values for traction resistance parameters e.g. air drag coefficient or road gradient, and detecting movement of the vehicle during an unrolling process. The vehicle is decelerated till to a target speed based on an initial speed. An adapted value is determined for the traction resistance parameters based on the detected movement of the vehicle. The adaptive value is used for subsequent determination of another unrolling path from another initial speed till to another target speed. An independent claim is also included for a control device for a vehicle.
