The present invention relates to an electronic navigation chart using a portable device and a method for using the same. The present invention enables ships to exchange navigation information or receive the navigation related information of the other ship and prevents, in advance, a marine accident and rapidly performs a rescue operation and accurately analyzes causes when the accident occurs. According to the present invention, the present invention comprises: an integrated marine safety device receiving the navigation related information of the other ship and converting the information into a signal form appropriate for a communication system of the ship to use the signal as the information required for safe navigation; a relay control device relaying the navigation related information of the ship to a following control device; and the control device integrating and managing the navigation related information of each ship and providing the navigation related information with respect to each ship to government or private sectors. Therefore, when the electronic navigation chart using a portable device is built up, an interested person such as a ship owner/a shipping company can receive the information required for ship operation. |
