A pack 100 for holding and recharging an e-cigarette comprising a battery, body portion 120 including a tube 132 for receiving the e-cigarette, charging mechanism and an activation mechanism comprising two separate triggers, where charging of the electronic cigarette only begins when both triggers have been activated. The pack 100 may include a wired connector, or charging may be performed by an inductive coupling. There may be a light or LED on the housing to indicate whether recharging of the e-cigarette has started. The case may include a lid 140 to hold the e-cigarette inside.The first trigger may be the insertion of an e-cigarette into the charger or detection of whether the cigarette has made an electrical contact with the charging circuit. The second trigger may include closing of a lid which could mechanically activate a switch, connecting the pack to an external power source, or activation by the user of a switch on the exterior of the pack. |
