PURPOSE:To realize excellent image reproduction, by constituting a planar heater having an elastic supporting layer of which curvature is larger than the inside diameter of a drum-shaped photoreceptor, is filled flexibly in a drum cylinder. CONSTITUTION:In an electrophotographic apparatus designed to form images on drum-shaped photoreceptor, a planar heater DH having an elastic flexible member layer of which curvature is larger than the inside diameter of a drum D to support the photoreceptor is fitted in the drum D. When inserting into the drum D, the curvature of the planar heater DH is varied to be deformed smaller than the drum inside diameter so as to be inserted, and by clearing such deformation after inserting, the heater DH may be easily fitted into the drum D. In this constitution, the heater, if damaged, may be replaced quite easily. |
