摘要 The present invention relates to a medium alignment apparatus using a rotary roller and a medium alignment method thereof. The apparatus is applied to a medium input/output device which automatically inputs and outputs mediums such as an automated teller machine (ATM). The apparatus has a pair of rollers to correct the conveying location of a medium conveyed through a conveying roller. The roller pair is configured to rotate in the left and right directions to skew the conveying direction of the medium. When the location of the conveyed medium is corrected, the apparatus controls the left and right rotation angle and rolling speed of the rollers to adjust the correction amount of the conveying collation of the medium in the left and right directions. The conveyed medium can be aligned on the left, right, and center parts of the conveying path. The apparatus can switch the direction to effectively correct the location of the medium moving at a fast speed more precisely.
