Disclosed is an air conditioner reducing abnormal noise during an antifrost operation of the air conditioner for heating and cooling. The air conditioner is characterized by comprising a compressor compressing a coolant; an outdoor heat exchanger performing heat exchange between the coolant and outdoor air; an expander expanding the coolant; an indoor heat exchanger for the heat exchange between the coolant and indoor air; a heat exchanging module arranged to heat-exchange the coolant flowing into the expander during the antifrost operation; and a bypass bypassing the coolant which passed through the heat exchanging module during the antifrost operation to make the coolant be supplied to the compressor without passing the indoor heat exchanger.
