<p>A package medium and an additional content are always managed integrally so that an original content recorded in the package medium can always be used along with the additional content. The additional content using a virtual package function specified as an expanded function of Blu-ray is managed. An additional content management device comprises an additional content acquiring means which can be applied to, for example, a recording/reproducing device (10) and acquires additional content stored in an external storage means, and an additional content recording means which stores the acquired additional content in a predetermined recording medium. The additional content recording means detects a hybrid Blu-ray disk (BD) (20) provided with both of a data-read-only ROM area (21) and a data-writable recording area (22), and records the additional content, acquired by the additional content acquiring means, in the recording area (22) of the BD (20).</p> |
