Provided is a molding machine, especially, a closing device for an injection molding machine. The closing device of the present invention practically includes a C-type machine frame (1). In addition, a fixed-type mold connecting plate (3) is connected onto a frame member (2) on one side thereof, and a closing device for driving a movable mold connecting plate (5) is connected on another side of frame member(4) in a lengthwise direction (L) of the machine frame (1). Free terminal ends of frame members (2, 4) in the machine frame (1) are transformed by closing power inflicted during closing process. Therefore, according to the present invention, the movable mold connecting plate (5) is connected and fixed onto a closing device at the top thereof and also connected to the closing device at the bottom thereof by means of at least one compression up-setting sleeve (6). |
