ADAPTIVE DEMODULATION METHOD FOR ULTRASOUND IMAGE AND APPARATUS THEREOF

The present invention provides a method and a device for providing an improved image by enhancing the quality of an ultrasound image. The adaptive demodulation method includes the steps of: obtaining input radio frequency (RF) data; orthogonally demodulating the input RF data to output an in-phase and quadrature (IQ) signal; determining a valid region regarding the input RF data; and estimating the attenuation of the frequency of the IQ signal based on the data included in the valid region of the input RF data and performing a frequency correction operation corresponding to the estimated attenuation of the frequency.
