Provided is a locking device for an opening and closing body capable of aiming at reducing the thickness of the device while sliding a movable locking member enough. The locking device (10) includes a housing (20); a rotary member (40) mounted on the rear surface of the housing; and a manipulation member (50) installed on the surface of the housing to be pressed. A wall unit (43) having a cam slope (47) is formed on a rotary member (40). The manipulation member (50) includes a pressing unit (51), a lateral wall (53), and arm units (55) extended from the lateral wall (53) to an external diameter direction. The pressing unit (51) and the lateral wall (53) of the manipulation member (50) are positioned closer to an internal diameter direction than the wall unit (43) of the rotary member (40). Therefore, the arm units (55) are protruding from the surface of the housing and are arranged to be in contact with the cam slope (47). |
