The nozzle includes: an elongated nozzle body extending from the sprayer body and having a curved portion on a leading end side; and a nozzle head disposed on a leading end of the nozzle body. The irradiation unit is arranged inside a curve shape of the curved portion.

A method of applying a drug to a target site in a living body, the method comprising: inserting a leading end of a nozzle into a living body, the nozzle including a drug discharge port from which the drug is discharged, and an irradiation unit that emits light that diffuses in a direction away from the nozzle; irradiating tissue in the living body by directing the diffused light from the irradiation unit in a direction at the tissue; adjusting a position of the nozzle so that an irradiated site of the tissue that is irradiated by the diffused light is aligned with the target site; discharging the drug from the nozzle in a direction at the target site to apply the drug to the target site; and wherein the direction in which the diffused light is directed from the irradiation unit and the direction in which the drug is discharged from the nozzle are substantially the same so that a direction of orientation of the leading end of the nozzle at which the drug discharge port is located and from which the drug is discharged is predicted by visually observing the irradiated site.
