The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a polarizing member including a locally decolorized area comprising the following steps of: providing a polarizing member including a polyvinyl alcohol-based polarizer, wherein at least one between iodine and dichroic dye is aligned with a predetermined direction; forming a mask layer including at least one opening at one surface of the polarizing member; partially decolorizing the polarizing member, wherein the mask layer is formed, by dipping the polarizing member into a decolorizing solution; and correcting an exterior of the partially decolorized polarizing member.
