The present invention relates to an esterase fusion protein fused a hydrophobic domain involved in membrane binding derived from a membrane binding protein to an N-end of the esterase, a polynucleotide which codes the fusion protein, a vector for expressing the fusion protein comprising the polynucleotide, a transformant which can produce the fusion protein by introducing the vector and a method for producing the fusion protein using the transformant. The esterase fusion protein of the present invention can improve a manufacturing yield of omega-hydroxy fatty acid by effectively decomposing long chain fatty acid and can be widely useful in producing omega-hydroxy fatty acid.
