Provided is a display panel including: an array substrate; an opposite substrate facing the array substrate and including a second base substrate and a common electrode disposed on the second base substrate; and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the array substrate and the opposite substrate. The array substrate includes: a first base substrate disposed in a display area and a non-display area; a photosensitive polymer organic layer disposed in a first non-display area and extending to a pad area, the photosensitive polymer organic layer having a taper shape at an end portion of the first non-display area; a thin film transistor disposed on the first base substrate in the display area; a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor; and a signal input pad connected to the thin film transistor and disposed on the photosensitive polymer organic layer in the pad area. |

1. A display panel comprising:
an array substrate comprising a display area, a non-display area outside the display area, and a pad area extending from at least one side of the non-display area, the non-display area comprising a first non-display area adjacent to the pad area and a second non-display area other than the first non-display area; an opposite substrate facing the array substrate and comprising a second base substrate and a common electrode disposed on the second base substrate; and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the array substrate and the opposite substrate, wherein the array substrate further comprises:
a first base substrate disposed in the display area and the non-display area;a photosensitive polymer organic layer disposed in the first non-display area and the pad area, the photosensitive polymer organic layer having an end portion with a taper shape, the photosensitive polymer organic layer entirely overlapped with the pad area;a thin film transistor disposed on the first base substrate in the display area;a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor; anda signal input pad connected to the thin film transistor and disposed on the photosensitive polymer organic layer in the pad area. |
