PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which can promote the power generation by a fuel cell in accordance with the running state of a vehicle, while suppressing the structural complication of the fuel cell system.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 2 comprises: a fuel tank 10 in which liquid fuel containing a fuel component is stored; a fuel cell 3 which generates power when it is supplied with the liquid fuel; and a storage tank 9B which stores liquid discharged from the fuel cell 3. The fuel cell system is provided with an adjustment tank 9A which adjusts the concentration of the liquid fuel by mixing liquid discharged from the storage tank 9B and the liquid fuel supplied from the fuel tank 10. The power generation by the fuel cell 3 is promoted by appropriately supplying the liquid fuel from the fuel tank 10 to the adjustment tank 9A in accordance with the running state of an electric vehicle 1. |
