<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the transcription performance of rough-surface paper and achieve the separation performance of thin paper and the prevention of an abnormal image caused by electric discharge before a secondary transcription unit at the same time.SOLUTION: There is provided a printer 100, provided with photoreceptors 1Y, 1M, 1C, 1K, an intermediate transcription belt 8 having an elastic layer, a secondary transcription belt 50 for sucking and carrying recording paper after secondary transcription, a repulsive roller 12A for supporting the intermediate transcription belt, and a secondary transcription roller 51, capable of contacting the repulsive roller via the intermediate transcription belt and secondary transcription belt in a secondary transcription unit, for supporting the secondary transcription belt, with a toner image on the intermediate transcription belt transcribed to the recording paper by applying a secondary transcription bias in the secondary transcription unit while holding the recording paper between the secondary transcription belt and the intermediate transcription belt, wherein the travel path of the intermediate transcription belt is disposed so as to run along a second rotation member via the secondary transcription belt on the upstream side of the secondary transcription unit, and the travel path of the secondary transcription belt is disposed so as to run along the repulsive roller via the intermediate transcription belt on the downstream side of the secondary transcription unit.</p> |
