PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor which can easily determine the damage state of a guard plate.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor comprises optical sensors 32,34 that applies light to a guard plate 22 suspended from a narrow angle part 5 and receives its reflection light, and a determination unit 40 that determines the damage state of the guard plate 22 depending on the presence or absence of the reflection light received by the optical sensors 32,34. |
