<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system which allows for maximum number of simultaneous communication depending on the theoretically available number of slots, while satisfying the conditions that wireless communication is performed using every other slot in a plurality of slots constituting a unit communication period.SOLUTION: In a wireless communication system, a plurality of cordless communication devices, consisting of a master unit and one or a plurality of slave units, are connected with a host device. When the setting held in a holding section is a first synchronous phase, each master unit is synchronized with a reference synchronization signal received from the host device, and generates a first synchronization signal having a unit communication period as one period. When the setting is a second synchronous phase, the master unit generates a second synchronization signal having a phase shifted by one time slot from the first synchronization signal, and establishes a slot for wireless communication between a slave unit, among every other slots out of the plurality of slots, on the basis of the first synchronization signal or second synchronization signal thus generated.</p> |
