<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a resin foam that has a fine and uniform cell structure; and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: The resin foam production method is a method for producing resin foam by mixing and agitating gas into an aqueous liquid medium containing water-dispersive resin as a dispersoid, frothing anionic surfactant as a frother, and water or mixture of water and water soluble solvent as a dispersion medium, to foam the aqueous liquid medium and produce foamed aqueous liquid medium, and by heating the foamed aqueous liquid medium to evaporate the dispersion medium and produce resin foam, and includes a thixotropy imparting step for lowering the fluidity of the foamed aqueous liquid medium, after the foaming.</p> |
