<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce paper float of printing paper to be conveyed.SOLUTION: A printer 10 includes: an ink jet head 42 for discharging ink drop to printing paper P; a paper conveyance mechanism 30 which has a paper feed roller 36 and a paper pressure roller 37 pressed by the paper feed roller 36, holds the printing paper P between the paper feed roller 36 and the paper pressure roller 37 and conveys the printing paper P along a conveyance path 32; and a suction mechanism 50 which has a suction surface 52 including a platen 45 facing the ink jet head 42 via the conveyance path 32 and sucks the printing paper P toward the suction surface 52 side. The paper conveyance mechanism 30 is disposed in a suction range of the suction surface 52. The paper feed roller 36 has a plurality of recesses 31 formed in an axial direction on a circular outer peripheral surface. The suction surface 52 has a projection section 43 entering a recess region of the paper feed roller 36.</p> |
