PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional teapot for tea bags, problems that have no function of squeezing a water-absorbed tea bag and that lack a precisely squeezing function, failing of proper percolation of a tea bag of high-class tea.SOLUTION: Under the bottom face of the lid 2 of a teapot or a teacup and at a position higher than an assumed liquid level, there is provided a strainer 3 that is integrated with the body of the teapot or the teacup or that is attachable to and detachable from the body. A water-absorbed tea bag 4 is placed on the strainer 3, with the lid 2 closed which serves as a pressurizing piece. As a result, the tea bag 4 is pressurized to a prescribed thickness, having a mechanism to make suitable straining possible. Also, a space between the bottom face of the lid 2 and the strainer 3 can be arbitrarily set by using spacers 11, 13 in an insertable manner. |
